International shippers beware **** they take your money from your credit card **** then email you saying you must email them copies of your identification and utility bill *** AMEX said do not do it as it is identity fraud *** Mott & Bow then way we cannot deliver your jeans. Is this not fraud?
Just bought a couple of T-shirts, had my card charged, now they're asking for "additional verification" in the form of my id or utilities bill. They're the only online retailer in the past 5 years who have ever requested such sensitive info without giving any particular reason or, pertaining to the GDPR, offering any info regarding the processing of said data. They did cancel my order per my request and I have already received a refund, but I'm still very disappointed about the process.

They charge a a USD 5 re-stocking fee... Unbelievable - I would never order there again!!
Tracking information provided for DHL is not recognised by DHL. The Mott and Bow website is terrible and provides no useful information.
Made contact with Mott and Bow asking for an explanation. When I eventually got a response they simply gave me the same tracking number i had already given them and said it is still on the way. They did not address my request for an explanation and have not responded to several subsequent requests for information. I have now requested my order be cancelled and a full refund provided. It is well over a month now and the jeans seem unlikely to ever arrive and I am yet to receive my refund. Fortunately i have the backing of PayPal to effect a refund and have now actioned this. Terrible customer service. Providing false tracking details also rings alarm bells.

I've been trying to buy a pair of Jeans for days, it's been a nightmare, the phone , no communication.
On line, impossible.
How do they stay in business?
Ordered Jeans in August 2020. They never arrived. Their customer service just don’t care and won’t refund. Buyer beware.
I’m surprised at the prevalence of negative reviews here. Sure it takes 3 weeks to ship (to Ireland in my case) - as advised on the website so no surprise. The website and reviews also say to order a size smaller than usual due to the stretch capability built into these jeans. I did that and have been wearing them for a month now. They fit perfectly, even after washing. I bought 2 pairs - Crosby and Wooster. I’m usually 38/30 and bought them in 36/30. The stretch makes them exceptionally comfortable and considering I’ll get a couple of years from them, well worth the money.
Update: I may have jumped the gun on my earlier 1star review below. While there was some confusion in the order, I did receive the pants soon after. I very much like them and would recommend to others.

I wish I had found these reviews before I placed an order over a week ago. They hammered my payment the day of order yet I've received no update and my M&B account reflects no orders have been placed by me. Calling their help line is of no use as apparently they don't have the manpower to actually answer a call. I've emailed support, so we'll see. After seeing many of these reviews, I'm not overly optimistic of how this experience is going to play out.
I know there are a lot of bad reviews but i cannot say i have had any issues. I'm in the UK. My jeans arrived in 10 days from order fit perfectly and are good quality!
I got 34/32 and they fit better than my Gap ones.
DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!What a waste of money, took forever to receive, had to contact them so many times, and then when they finally arrived they sent the wrong size.. when I tried to get a refund, or the right order, TO BAD SO SAD, if I wanted to pay to send them back, then they would refund, but of course would not pay for shipping- THE WRONG ORDER THEY SENT - back to them. A total loss for me, I was not going to spend more than $25 to ship the jeans back to them, as I don't believe they would ever have provided a refund, and frankly the jeans are just not that nice... a very expensive lesson, there are lots of great jeans out there, so move to a better site.
After visiting their Facebook page and see all the negative feedback I've decided to cancel my order since then I have never got any refund.
Don't buy from outside the USA!!
They ship for free worldwide, but the shipping takes 4 (!!) weeks to arrive in Europe. They blame the pandemic, however, all other shippings in the same time, from the same carrier arrived within 3-5 days. Just saying. Return are not covered and cost me 50 USD!!!
Then, their sizes refer to Americans, not to Europeans, way off!
Bad and costly experience for overseas customers, so just don't bother!
P.S. Their customer service is, however, efficient and friendly. Let's see how efficient they are in refunding me returns...
Problem 1: their sizing is way off.
Problem 2: overseas customers are expected to pay shipping on returns.
Problem 3: the combination of problems 1 & 2 result in a bad & costly experience for overseas customers.
My recommendation: unless you live in USA, don't bother :)
